Causes and solutions of low engine oil pressure
Reasons for low engine oil pressure:
Oil pump wear, pressure limiting valve wear or foreign matters; Low oil storage; Oil or viscous for a long time during driving; Parts are excessively worn, and camshaft bushing clearance is too large; Oil induction plug, pressure gauge or circuit failure; Serious oil plug, pressure gauge or circuit failure, etc.
The causes and solutions of low engine oil pressure are as follows:
1.The connecting pipe between the oil pump and the cylinder block is damaged, or the gasket is broken, resulting in oil leakage.
Solution: Lift the roof, check along the pipeline, and then see where there is a problem, and repair and replace it in time.
2.The storage of engine oil is too small, resulting in low oil pressure. (Oil leakage, oil leakage and oil burning)
Solution: This problem is easy to solve. Just buy a bottle of oil for maintenance and add. Of course, oil leakage and oil leakage can be found and solved. If you burn engine oil, please go to the 4S store for inspection and maintenance.
3.If the driving time is too long, the oil will become dirty or sticky, resulting in poor oil pump suction and low oil pressure.
Solution: First clean or replace the oil pump, and then replace the car with new oil. After replacement, the maintenance shall be carried out in strict accordance with the maintenance standards.
4.Excessive wear of parts, such as excessive clearance between crankshaft and large and small bushings, too soft spring of pressure limiting valve and pressure reducing valve, or damage of steel ball, will lead to loss of valve function, which will lead to reduction of oil suction and pump output, resulting in low or no oil pressure.
Solution: This requires careful inspection by the mechanic. I can't judge from appearance.
5.The oil pressure is low due to the fault of the oil sensing plug, pressure gauge or circuit.
Solution: This problem usually occurs in vehicles more than 4 years old, so there may be electronic aging and failure, so if it is the problem here, it can be replaced directly.
6.Mixing oil with fuel or water will dilute the oil. If water is mixed in the oil, the oil will emulsify and deteriorate, resulting in insufficient oil pressure.
Solution: The oil needs to be changed. Find out the cause of fuel and water mixed in the oil and eliminate it.
