How many parts are the internal combustion engine product models? What does each mean?
In order to facilitate the production management and use of internal combustion engines, the national standard (GB725-82) "Rules for the Preparation of Product Names and Models of Internal Combustion Engines" has made uniform provisions on the names and models of internal combustion engines.
1.Name and model of internal combustion engine
Internal combustion engines are named according to the main fuels used, such as gasoline engines, diesel engines, gas engines, etc.
The internal combustion engine model is composed of Arabic numerals and Chinese phonetic alphabet.
The internal combustion engine model consists of the following four parts:
First part:
It is the product series symbol and the replacement symbol, which is represented by the corresponding letters selected by the manufacturer according to the needs, but needs to be approved by the competent department.
central section:
It is composed of cylinder number symbol, stroke symbol, cylinder arrangement symbol and cylinder diameter symbol. Rear: structural feature and use feature symbols, expressed in letters.
Tail:
Distinguishing symbols. When the same series of products need to be distinguished due to improvement and other reasons, the manufacturer shall select appropriate symbols to indicate.
2.The order of internal combustion engine models and the meaning of symbols
The arrangement order of internal combustion engine models and the meaning represented by symbols are specified as follows:
The first digit in the figure is the number of engine cylinders, 1 is 1 cylinder, 2 is 2 cylinder, and so on.
The second rear engine cylinder diameter, in mm, 108 is 108 mm.
3. Example of model preparation
