When the ignition switch is turned to the start position to jump or return to the ignition position after starting, the working current of the ignition circuit battery (+), ignition switch contact 30 and bridge ground circuit 1 supplies power to the ignition controller and hall pulse generator; The second circuit is the primary winding of the ignition coil, ignition controller and battery (-), so the iron core in the ignition coil generates a magnetic field under the action of this current. When the distributor lacks the interaction between the rotor and the Hall element, the working current in the primary winding of the ignition coil is disconnected through the ignition controller. The magnetic field in the ignition coil core will disappear rapidly. Then, the secondary winding of the ignition coil generates high voltage, which is distributed to the spark plugs of each cylinder through the distribution rotor in the distributor according to the working ignition sequence of the engine. The gap between the cold center electrode and the side electrode of the spark is broken down, producing a spark to ignite the combustible mixture.

 

The ignition switch is a switch on the automotive electrical system, which is responsible for the switch off of the ignition system, the starting system and all electrical appliances:

1.The ignition switch on a car usually has four states. The correct ignition switch has four gears: LOCK, ACC, on and START. Generally, the key will be in the LOCK state after locking the vehicle. In this state, not only the direction of the car is locked, but also the power supply of the whole car is cut off. ACC status refers to the power supply of each device in the vehicle, such as air conditioner, CD, navigation, etc. The ON state indicates that all circuits of the whole vehicle are in working state. START gear is the starting gear of the engine;

2.Each of the four gears is gradual in order, so that all the equipment of the car can be put into operation one by one, which can reduce the burden on the car battery caused by instant power-on. If you do not stop at each gear, the working load of the battery will increase instantaneously, so this operation mode is very unfavorable to the engine and battery. If you are used to this operation, it will shorten the battery life.
