Carter 3500 Series Engine Maintenance
1. Minor repair project - diesel engine/generator set maintenance:
For minor faults of the unit, professional inspection and maintenance are carried out for the fault phenomenon.
1. Check the degree of wear of the diesel generator set valve, diesel generator set valve seat, etc., and repair or replace the diesel generator set if necessary;
2. Check the working conditions of the oil pump and injector of the diesel generator set, and repair and adjust if necessary;
3. Check and adjust the torque of the connecting rod and each fastening screw of the diesel generator set;
4. Check and adjust the tension of the fan charger belt;
5. Check and adjust the valve clearance of diesel generator sets;
6. Adjust the injector stroke of the diesel generator set;
7. Clean the sludge and metal iron filings in the rocker arm chamber and oil pan.
8. Clean the oil lubrication system of the entire diesel generator set;
9. Clean the carbon deposits in the intake manifold;
10. Clean the intercooler core;
2. Intermediate maintenance project - diesel engine/generator set maintenance:
1. Small maintenance items including diesel generator sets;
2. Disassemble the engine (except the crankshaft);
3. Check the fuel supply system of the diesel generator set and adjust the oil nozzle of the oil pump;
4. Repair and test generator electric balls, clean oil deposits, and lubricate electric ball bearings;
5. Check the vulnerable parts of cylinder liner, piston, piston ring, intake and exhaust valve, crank connecting rod mechanism, valve train, lubrication system and cooling system, and replace if necessary.
3. Overhaul project - diesel engine/generator set maintenance:
1. Including diesel generator set mid-repair project;
2. Disassemble the engines of all diesel generator sets;
4. Adjust the oil pump, injector, replace the pump core and injector head;
5. Replace the turbocharger overhaul kit and water pump repair kit of the diesel generator set;
6. Correct the connecting rod, crankshaft, body and other components, and repair or replace if necessary.
7. Motor stator and rotor are dedusted.
8. Detect and restore the engine control circuit.
9. Check the instruments on the control panel and start the switch;
10. Check the insulation properties of stator and rotor coils.
11. Detect the high water temperature and low oil pressure protection functions of the engine, and replace the damaged parts.
12. Replace the cylinder block, piston, piston ring, large and small bearing bushes, crankshaft thrust pads, intake and exhaust valves, and a full set of engine overhaul kits.
