When do I need an air oil separator?
If you are not sure whether you need AOS, this is a list of the most common reasons why you may need AOS.
Improve performance drive
In general, AOS helps keep the engine clean and running smoothly. When oil residues accumulate in the engine, performance is reduced. It also recycles oil to improve efficiency.
Excessive oil loss
If the engine loses a quart or more of oil between changes, an air oil separator may be required. This is just a waste of money and oil, your engine can be successfully recycled.
Pay attention to oil accumulation
The accumulation of oil residues will significantly reduce the performance of the engine. If the engine is blocked, it may even cause cylinder combustiona problems. It is rather troublesome to remove these residues, so it is better to use AOS to prevent accumulation.
Increase horsepower
If someone wants to increase the horsepower, adding AOS to the engine can improve the efficiency of the PCV system, thereby increasing the horsepower of the engine.
Direct injection engine
A direct injection engine means that gasoline is injected directly into the combustion chamber. These engines use internal combustion engines, unlike manifold fuel injection systems that inject fuel into the intake manifold. These engines generate a lot of oil residues and steam, so AOS will help them run better.
