Only a few steps are required to replace the hydraulic filter:
1.Lock the machine.
2.Secure the filter wrench or strap wrench to the bottom of the filter.
3.Turn the wrench to remove the filter.
4.After removal, confirm that the old seal is completely exposed and clean the filter head
5.Rub the seal on the new filter with clean oil.
6.Place the new filter in position, rotate until the seal contacts, and then tighten 3/4 of a turn to complete.
7.Unlock the machine and operate.
8.Check carefully to confirm that the seal is good.
The machine must be locked for safety and to prevent damage to the equipment. When disassembling the filter, it should not be grasped from the middle or top. This will damage the old filter and increase the time required to replace the new filter.
